Tickets will go on sale today at 10:00am PT. The American Cinematheque has set up a temporary waiting room to improve your ticket buying experience and ensure everyone has an equal chance to purchase festival tickets! Here’s what you need to know:
The AC website will refresh at 10:00am PT. There’s no need to stay on the site before this time. When sales start, the queue will reset, giving everyone an equal opportunity to purchase tickets.
At 10:00am PT, you’ll be directed to a captcha page before entering the queue.
Do not refresh the waiting room page; it will update automatically.
You can purchase up to 2 tickets per screening, but you’re welcome to buy tickets for as many screenings as you like.
You have a total of 6 minutes to check out from the moment you place tickets into your cart. You can add multiple events to your cart at once and each set will have its own 6-minute window. (Ex. If you add Ticket A into your cart at 10:00 and Ticket B at 10:02, Ticket A would expire at 10:06 and Ticket B would expire at 10:08).
