Beyond Fest announces its tenth-anniversary slate including World premieres of HALLOWEEN ENDS, MY BEST FRIEND’S EXORCISM, CHRISTMAS BLOODY CHRISTMAS, special screenings of HELLRAISER, BANSHEES OF INISHERIN, WEIRD: THE AL YANKOVIC STORY, SMILE, THE MENU, TRIANGLE OF SADNESS, in-person tributes to Park Chan-wook, William Friedkin, and William Shatner, and an exclusive celebration of IMAX’s creative and technical excellence featuring a rare quartet of repertory screenings.   

To celebrate its tenth anniversary edition, Beyond Fest has partnered with American Cinematheque, IMAX, Variance Films, Potentate Films, and the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles to salute the legendary filmmaker with a month-long tribute showcasing his iconic filmography. 

Searchlight Pictures and Beyond Fest announced today the World Premiere of Scott Cooper’s new horror thriller ANTLERS as the October 11th Closing Night selection of the 2021 Beyond Fest, presented in partnership with the American Cinematheque. The premiere will launch a series of events leading up to the October 29th domestic theatrical release of the film.

Beyond Fest announces a city-wide presence with a slate including the US Premiere of HALLOWEEN KILLS, the West Coast premieres of THE BLACK PHONE, LAMB, VORTEX and Palme d’Or winner TITANE on 35mm, the world premiere of NEW YORK NINJA, 50th anniversary of A CLOCKWORK ORANGE, and a salute to the legendary Michael Mann.

Beyond Fest announces the first physical genre festival of the year with week-long drive-in residence including world premieres of Christopher Landon’s from Blumhouse FREAKY, Adam Egypt Mortimer’s ARCHENEMY, and Jim Cummings’ THE WOLF OF SNOW HOLLOW.

Beyond Fest is excited to announce the premiere event of Nickelodeon’s Are You Afraid of the Dark? The three-part limited series event sees the return of the Midnight Society, with Beyond Fest bowing the first two episodes on Monday, Oct. 7. Courtesy of Nickelodeon, the special screening is an all-ages, family-friendly event built specifically for fans young and old and free to all guests with tickets obtained via RSVP.
