Beyond Fest
Beyond Fest is the highest attended genre film festival in the U.S. and exists to serve the genre community of Los Angeles. Beyond Fest is built in partnership with American Cinematheque and Death Waltz Recording Co. A not-for-profit entity, Beyond Fest raises funds for the 501C3 non-profit film institution, American Cinematheque. Its favorite film is Jaws.

American Cinematheque
Established in 1984, the American Cinematheque is a member-supported 501(c)(3) non-profit cultural arts organization dedicated to building an engaged film community through immersive film curation, conversation, and presentation. The American Cinematheque celebrates the movie-going experience at the core of its mission. Since it first began showing films in theatres in 1985, the American Cinematheque has provided a wide range of film programming, with both new and repertory cinema, hosting screenings, panels and special events with thousands of filmmakers and luminaries. The Cinematheque showcases over 1,500 films per year; it connects the filmmaker to the audience and film history to its future. Presenting in 35mm, 70mm, rare nitrate, and state-of-the-art digital.

Music Box
Nestled in the heart of Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood on Southport Avenue, the independently owned and operated Music Box Theatre has been the home for independent, foreign, and classic cinema since 1929. With its glowing marquee, historic main auditorium, and famously loyal late-night crowds, the Music Box stands as both a neighborhood landmark and a cornerstone of the city’s film culture 

Music Box Theatre was built at the dawn of sound cinema, and its favorite film is 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY (in 70mm).
