The man, the myth, the chin Bruce Campbell is coming to Beyond Fest for a celebration of THE EVIL DEAD presented by Starz and ASH VS EVIL DEAD.

Bruce Campbell, aka Ash, aka Ashley J. Williams, aka He-who-has-come-from-the-sky-to-deliver-us-from- the-terrors-of-the-Deadites, is bringing his boomstick to the Egyptian Theatre on Saturday, October 3rd to get groovy with us all. Bruce will be joined in conversation by director Edgar Wright to talk all things Evil Dead between an epic double bill of the first two movies projected on 35mm.

Tickets for this event are $15 and will go on sale through Brown Paper Tickets on Saturday, September 5th at high noon, however, if you’re a serious Evil Dead fan you have a shot at getting two tickets for FREE before anyone else…

We’re going to be giving away 25 pairs of tickets to the most hardcore Evil Dead fans for FREE this Friday, September 4th at 7PM at Meltdown Comics on Sunset Blvd, however, here’s the catch… To show you’re the most die hard Evil Dead fan you’re going to have to prove it by showing us your Evil Dead tattoo. Yep, that’s right, if you have an Evil Dead tattoo you get two free tickets AND you get early entry into the theater to pick the best seats in the house.

Now, there are guidelines for these tattoos… First, they have to be CLEARLY from the Evil Dead movies, that means Ash, Henrietta, Deadites, the Necronomicon, flying eyeballs into gaping mouths etc. (leave your random chainsaws at home). Second, there’s nothing dainty about The Evil Dead so your tattooes can’t be either – nothing smaller than three inches in length gets you tickets. If you’re not sure if your ink qualifies, email it to info [at] beyondfest.com by noon Friday and we’ll let you know what’s up. Tickets are first come first served and you’ll have to line up inside the store along the east wall if you get there early.

We admit, this is pretty nuts but there are some serious fans out there who live and die by these films, it only makes sense to give a little back to those who have supported Sam and Bruce so hard.

For those of you that don’t have an Evil Dead tattoo yet don’t despair, Studio City Tattoo will be on site at the Egyptian on October 3rd giving free tattoos to anyone who wants one. You’ll need a ticket to the show but you’ll get in early if you get a tattoo on site. Follow us on Twitter for more info closer to the event.

Let’s get groovy, Los Angeles.
